What Father showed me

A different way of hearing

An introduction to the themes that run through the books. Each is explored more fully in the writings themselves.

I.

Faith is hearing

Faith comes by hearing. Works are our obedience to what we have heard. The beginning is Father's Voice, not a doctrine memorized.

II.

Grace is Father deciding to act

Father is sovereign. Grace begins in His decision and His action, rather than in the strength of mankind's will.

III.

“I am having children.”

The purpose of creation is the Father's family. His children learn, are corrected, and grow toward His likeness.

The journey

Not simply what I was taught.

These writings came out of years of questions, searching the Scriptures, and learning to hear Father for myself. The journey has passed through the church, the airline cockpit, and unexpected changes in life.

The books and songs belong to that same story. They are offered for those who wonder whether there is more to discover beyond the familiar answers.
